Cunningham Grade School
Kindergarten Visitation Day

May 18, 2009
Kindergarten students were busy on Friday, May 8th. They were
helping the preschool visitors that came to spend the day with us.
Our visiting class had a blast in gym class. Mrs. Sharp had
parachute activities that everyone loved, and she gave each student
a ball to take home with them.
We went to the library with Mrs. Fitzsimmons and heard stories and
made cards for Mother’s Day, and later the sixth grade class walked
with us to the Cunningham Public Library where Mrs. Stackhouse read
us a story. Mrs. Steffen told us about the summer reading program
and treated us to pencils and a flowering plant.
In the classroom, we looked at the letterbooks and had an art
project. In music class, Mr. Johnson had a music game for us, and
to finish up our day, the third grade class along with Mr. Moore
helped us use the computer lab. We had a lot of fun, and
appreciated the extra help from all of the grade school teachers
that made our day go smoothly! The kindergarteners enjoyed a break
from their regular routine, too. We will be looking forward to
seeing you again in August!
