Halloween 2012
Students at Cunningham had a terrific time celebrating Halloween. The Kays organization kept us entertained for an hour with all kinds of games. Bingo, mummy wrapping, musical chairs, and candy corn races were just a few of the games that the kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grade students participated in during the party. We also enjoyed seeing the high school students wearing their costumes.
After the party, we boarded the bus and went to Hilltop Manor. We had fun parading through the halls and dining center showing everyone our costumes. The staff provided us with treats and invited us to come back during the evening to see their “haunted house.” I was lucky enough to go back and was totally amazed at all of the snacks and decorations they had. If they have this next year, I hope everyone can stop back in and enjoy the Halloween haunted house. Thank you for inviting the grade school students to visit you!
We returned to school to find many parents ready with snacks and games for each room. Students had a perfect evening for trick or treating. A nice full moon with warm temperatures made it easy to go door to door asking for treats. The trunk or treat at the Methodist church was also a great stop for kids and parents. Thanks to everyone for making Halloween a great evening!
