Kindergarten, first, and second grade students enjoyed preparing a Thanksgiving dinner in the classroom. Kindergarten students provided vegetables, first graders provided the relish plates, and second grade students brought desserts. The third grade class was invited as our guests and they entertained us with a turkey puppet show after our dinner. The students made Pilgrim and Wampanoag costumes to wear during the dinner. We had fun watching the dinner get put together in the crockpots and smelling it simmer all morning. We had delicious vegetable beef soup with homemade bread and lots of great desserts. Thanks to all the parents for their help with this project!
