Jr. High Scholars' Bowl Competes at Home

            The Cunningham Jr. High Scholar’s Bowl teams began practicing in early March to prepare for this year’s season, which will include three tournaments.  Fourteen sixth, seventh and eighth grade students are are coached by Mrs. Amber Zwierzychowski. 

            Cunningham hosted their tournament on Monday, March 31^st.  It was also attended by four other Heart of the Plains league schools:  Skyline, Attica, Norwich and South Barber. 

In the varsity division, Skyline placed first, South Barber placed second and third place was the Cunningham team of Jenna Fitzsimmons (captain), Paige DeWeese, Kylee Ricke, Taner Hansen and Holly DeWeese.  Paige DeWeese received 3^rd place individual scoring honors. 

In the junior varsity division, first place was Skyline, second place was South Barber and third place was Attica.  Cunningham was represented in the JV division by Kaylee Hernandez (captain), Lauren Murphy, Catie Westerman, Matthew Mercer, Brayden Schnittker and alternate Dustin Sheets. 

            The Wildcat scholars will travel to South Barber on Monday, April 7^th and Stafford on April 14^th.
