Eighth Grade has Trial

Eighth graders put Benedict Arnold on trial.  Class was divided into jury, prosecution, defense or judge. Arnold's life was researched to gather evidence for the trial. Students conducted the trial and ran it themselves. Afterward, they wrote what they learned about Arnold, why Arnold was innocent or guilty and how they'd do better a second time.
