Cunningham Runners Medal at Burrton

It was a very successful day at the Burrton Invitational Cross Country meet held at The Harvey County West State Park on October 4, 2018.  Eleven teams competed in the cold misty weather on a true “cross country” course.

Three of the four runners competing in the JV division placed in the top ten and received medals for their efforts.  Skylar Hennessee placed 5^th in a time of 20:58.0, Henry Huelskamp Placed 5^th in a time of 21:00.0 and Vitor Abreu placed 10^th in a time of 23:56.0.

All three of these runners improved on their times significantly.  This is important at this time of the season with the HOPL and Regional meets coming up in the next two weeks.  The HOPL meet will be run on the same course as this meet on October 11^th and the Regional meet will be held at the Cessna Activities Center in Wichita on October 20^th.
