Hi! Welcome to my "teacher bio" page! I've been teaching science since 2014 after graduating from Wichita State University. From January 2019- July 2020, I attended Emporia State University online to obtain my Masters of Science in Educational Administration. I have taught in Augusta and Conway Springs but Cunningham has been my “home” since the 2021-2022 school year.
I like to think of myself as an understanding and reasonable teacher, but I also have very high expectations of my students (I aim to be the “tough, but fair” kind of teacher). Science has always been a huge passion of mine and I hope to instill that and a mind that thinks critically in my students.
Outside of teaching, I am the Junior Class and National Honor Society sponsor. You will find me spending any free time I have with my husband (Cole), riding/ training our three horses (Beauty Trumps, Dirt on Driftwood and Fiegel’s Scout), gardening, reading, working on our farm, in the weight room, and hunting.
I am looking forward to another great year here at CHS! Go Wildcats!
