Launch the media gallery 1 playerCunningham Grade School Music Spring Honors Concert
April 27th, 2009 was the date for the grade school music
concert. Mr. Johnson, (vocal music) and Mr. Scholes, (instrumental
music) along with Mrs. Brady and Mrs. Panek as accompanists
presented a great concert to a full house. Kindergarten students
through the eighth grade were involved in many vocal presentations.
The fifth grade band and the junior high band played one final time
for Mr. Scholes. Mr. and Mrs. Scholes will be missed next year by
all the students at Cunningham.
Mr. Johnson’s art students (grades one through four) had their
fantastic art on display. The “Music in our Schools” posters were
also on display for voting purposes. The winners will be announced
at the Awards Program.
Preston performed his baritone horn solo for earning a I at
contest. The evening ended with patriotic music that included all
the students and audience participation.
