Kindergarten students enjoyed another visit from their fifth grade reading buddies. The fifth grade students shared knowledge from their recent field trip to Riggs Arboretum in Waterloo, Kansas. They helped each kindergarten student make a leaf booklet with many different kinds of leaves. Students made rubbings of locust, maple, aspen, basswood, and pine tree leaves. The fifth grade students also had a list of facts that they shared with the kindergarteners about trees.
