XC Runners do well at Larned
The Cunningham High School cross country team traveled to Larned to compete in a 17 team invitational on September 25, 2014.
The races were divided up into a freshman/sophomore and junior/senior divisions. Darius McAdam and Bryce Murphy competed in the fr/so division and placed 8th and 24threspectfully out of 51 runners in times of 19:32.14 and 21:34.54. Darius brought home a medal for his effort.
I am very pleased with the efforts of all the runners today because this was the most challenging course that we have run on this year. The Wildcats will compete next at Pratt on October 2nd. The meet will be run at the 6th street Park in Pratt and begin at 4:30.
