On Thurs., Nov. 19, weeks of practice paid off for Cunningham High School students, Mollie Snow and Bradley Corlew, as they competed in Speech Experience. Sponsored by the Hutchinson Recreation Commission, the event was held at the Hutchinson First Church of the Nazarene.
Mollie and Bradley prepared with Mrs. Zwierzychowski, Mrs. Wendt, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Stackhouse to give a talk about themselves and participate in a mock job interview.
Bradley, a freshman, received a green ribbon for his performance and Mollie, who is a sophomore, placed second in her division, receiving a silver medal. The two celebrated after the awards ceremony with a trip to Braum’s with Mrs. Stackhouse.
