Cunningham Runners Medal at Skyline

It was a cool misty morning when the three Cunningham Cross Country runners competed in the Skyline Invitational.  Teams competing included: Skyline St. John, Central Christian, Kingman, Pretty Prairie, Macksville, South Central, Stafford, Chaparral, Otis-Bison, and Cunningham.

Henry Huelskamp and Skylar Hennessee competed in the JV race and placed 2^nd in 21:156.99 and 5^th in 22:21.31, respectively out of 23 competitors.  Both improved their times from a year ago, Henry by 30 seconds and Skylar by over two minutes.

Daylen Schnittker competed against 54 runners in the varsity division and finished 8^th with a time of 19:10.47.  Collin Oswalt set a blistering pace and won with a time of 16:16.17 over the 5K race (3.1 miles).

The team will add Vitor Abreu and Shawn Snow to the runners competing at the next meet hosted by St. John and run at the Stafford County Golf Club on Thursday, September 13^th.
